Lifting Equipment

Lifting Equipment Inspections are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the relevant Australian Standard by fully trained, work cover qualified Technicians (Minimum requirement High Risk Work Licence—Rigging Basic). Inspections are scheduled depending on various factors surrounding the equipment, usage and requirements of the site.

This can be at intervals:


3 monthly

6 monthly

12 monthly


Inspections can be completed at OCL's Workshop or On-Site with all our Field Service Vehicles fully equipped with Tools, Spares & supplies to complete most minor repairs without the need to remove the equipment from site. Each item fit for Service at the time of inspection is colour tagged to suit the site requirements.

Any item that does not meet the requirements is tagged out of service and our clients personnel are advised prior to OCL leaving the site. Equipment requiring further/major repair can be returned to our workshop (after gaining approval from the site manager) for prompt assessment, quotation, repair or replacement as directed by the client. Equipment removed from site is of High Importance and the process is kept as efficient as practical to minimise the downtime of equipment not on site.


OCL provides as part of its Inspection Service, follow up contact to advise of Inspections falling due & can co-ordinate a mutually beneficial time for re-inspection.
